Steve O’Dell

I was born near St. Louis, Missouri, and spent most of my growing up years in a little town outside of Scranton, Pa.  I welcomed Jesus’ offer of salvation when I was only 5 years old, but didn’t really bow the knee to Him as Lord of my life until adulthood.  Now I find every day with Him to be a new adventure!  I’ve been married since 1992 and have four sons who keep me humble.  I am so grateful that God has blessed me with a fantastic wife, great kids and a job in radio that I love!

On Air Personality from 10:00am to 2:00pm weekdays, and on Sundays from noon to 6:00pm.

I’ve been in radio since 1978. I’m now an antique.  My motto is, If you love what you do for a living, you’ll never work a day in your life. I love what I do and I’m just a small part of what God is doing to encourage folks as they live life.

I am originally from Peekskill, NY. My favorite movie would have to be A Walk to Remember; and my favorite Christian artist was Rich Mullins. He represented humility. It was never about him but rather what he could do for Jesus. I have two children. A daughter Lauren 21.  She attends USC in Columbia, SC  and a son Andrew, 16. He’s a 10th grader and is now driving. (Please pray) Things I enjoy doing in my spare time. I play volleyball at least once a week with a singles ministry.  I like to bowl, take bike rides and hike in the mountains. I actually enjoy cooking and preparing meals. I discovered I have a hidden talent.  Guess you could call me Chef Peter. The turning point in my life came in 1984, when I truly discovered what a personal relationship with Christ was all about.  I recall listening to WCIE in Lakeland, Florida and recommitting  my life to Christ. A song from Debby Boone, “Can You Reach My Friend” changed my heart.
My favorite bible verse is Romans 8:28.  “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
On Air Personality from 2:00pm to 6:00pm weekdays.

I grew up in a Christian home and came to know the Lord as a child.  I attended college for Marketing and Communications, but never imagined that I would be serving in radio.  After learning about The Bridge at a Christian music festival, I started serving at The Bridge in 2012 as an intern for Bridgefest.  Since then, I have continued serving for Bridgefest and have become more involved in the church.  In October 2014 I came on staff at the station and what a blessing it has been!

Two of my favorite Bible verses are Zephaniah 3:17, “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing” and Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.”

I graduated from Cairn University in 2013 with a B.S. in Business Administration. I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and ended up moving to New Jersey in 2014. Growing up, I went to church every week, but I never truly had a relationship with Christ until I was a teenager. Since then, I have been continuously learning and growing in my faith.

Through college, I was able to expand my knowledge of the Bible and learn how to integrate God’s word into this world.  When I was first starting my career in business, I had an experience that really strengthened my faith during my college internship. The internship was at a large church in Lancaster, PA with the Office Manager.  While interning, I was able to gain a greater knowledge of a non-profit organization. This is where I grew to love the behind the scene work of a Christian organization. Since then, God has led me to The Bridge where I am blessed to work in a place that helps spread the gospel on a daily basis.

Thomas Cregge Program Coordinator

I graduated from Montclair State University in 2016 with a B.S. in Communication and Media Arts, I grew up in East Brunswick, NJ, and have been attending Calvary Chapel Old Bridge. My walk with the Lord didn’t begin until I was at a low point in life, and truly prayed for the Lord to guide me, and he has led me straight to The Bridge, and I am truly blessed to serve Him here! I have been serving as an intern for The Bridge for a year and then became the Programming Coordinator. The Lord has shown me the path through Philippians 4:6 – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” and Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, to give you a future, and a hope.” I thank the Lord everyday for the opportunities and blessings he has given me here, and I always will be grateful!
